Freebase data processing
All data that is currently on MovieMotel.com was retrieved using the Freebase data dumps. First the topic dump was partly imported (TV-shows, Movies, People and some special performance types). Then all relevant links from the quadruple export were imported as well (for instance links between directors and movies). After all topics and links were inserted in our own database, some transformations were done:
- We did not import the starting and ending dates for TV shows and seasons (yet). Instead, we took the earliest and latest dates from all the episodes for that show/season.
- All 'actors' for TV shows with one of the following genres were changed to 'personal appearances'

Issues
- Alternative titles have not yet been imported from Freebase
- It's not Freebase descriptions that are downloaded, but extracts of corresponding the Wikipedia page.
- With the current Freebase dumps, it's not possible to 'index' lists. Thus, actors are listed pretty random in credits. (this might be fixed with the next import!)
